— The ranch

A real place, on the edge of Modena

Tamburino Ranch sits along the Via Emilia, a few minutes from Modena, where the city gives way to open countryside. It’s the starting point for all our rides, but above all it’s a place to take slowly: the pace here is set by the animals and the seasons. You come to ride, of course, but also simply to be — to breathe, slow down and feel a little at home.

— The animals

A place that’s alive, where animals roam free

Alongside the horses, the ranch is home to free-roaming ponies, goats and pigs, dogs and cats — and a few more unexpected residents, like meerkats and a zebra. For children it’s a small discovery around every corner; for everyone, it’s the feeling of stepping into a place full of life, where the animals are cared for and come to meet you.

— Spaces and facilities

The arena, the stables and the table

On site you’ll find the arena where we ride and teach, the stables where the horses rest, an area set aside for tastings and the convivial moments after a ride, plus parking and green space to linger without rushing. All made to be comfortable, before and after your time in the saddle.

Frequent questions

In what languages are lessons and experiences held?

Available in Italian, English and French.

What should I wear?

We recommend long, comfortable trousers, knee-high socks and thin-soled shoes; sneakers work perfectly (avoid heavy boots). The riding cap is provided by the ranch.

What happens if it rains?

In case of adverse weather, the experience is postponed without any penalty. Light rain does not prevent activities, but safety remains the priority.
